Screen Weaver English policy

Privacy Policy

Screen Weaver is designed for local event display workflows. Session drafts, presets, and app preferences are stored on your device by default, and QR sharing is used to move session details between nearby devices.

1. Data stored on your device

The app stores the information needed to create, preview, save, and replay screen-based banner sessions. This may include draft text, layout choices, visual style settings, saved presets, display preferences, and local app settings such as automatic maximum brightness.

Requested permission Camera access is used to scan Screen Weaver session QR codes

2. QR sharing and external services

  • When you create a shared session, the app can encode session details into QR codes for nearby devices to scan.
  • When a participant scans a QR code, camera frames are used for scanning and are not uploaded to Sunlit Water servers by the app.
  • When you open this privacy policy, the support page, or email support, your browser, email app, and hosting infrastructure may process normal request metadata.

3. Third-party analytics and advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements and Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage, which helps us improve the app experience.

  • These third-party services use device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or iOS Advertising Identifier), cookies, and similar technologies to collect and process usage data.
  • Personalized Advertising: Google and its partners use this data to serve personalized ads based on your prior use of this app or other apps and websites.
  • For more detailed information on how Google collects and processes data, please visit: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

4. Why this data is used

  • To preview and display banner content on one or more devices.
  • To save and restore presets you choose to keep on the device.
  • To assign participant device positions and synchronize the display flow through QR payloads.
  • To keep the screen readable during banner playback, including brightness-related preferences.

5. Current app details

  • No mandatory account registration or sign-in flow.
  • No server-hosted session sync is required for the current QR-based sharing flow.
  • Camera permission may be needed for participants to scan host QR codes.
  • The app does not include persistent background location collection.

6. Your controls

  • You can decline camera permission, although QR scanning will not work without it.
  • You can delete saved presets and local app data from the app or operating system controls.
  • You can avoid QR sharing by using Screen Weaver only for local single-device preview or playback.
  • Ads and Analytics Opt-Out: You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising and analytics tracking through your device's privacy settings (e.g., "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Delete advertising ID" on Android, and "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS).

7. Contact and updates

If you need support, contact [email protected] or visit the support page. This page will be updated if the app's data handling or third-party services change.
